Every time I use a Ryobi tool, I’m impressed. The brand doesn’t always get the same cred as more expensive makers, but these bright green tools punch way above their pay grade. Right now, The Home Depot has its Ryobi Days sale going on, which is the best time of year to stock up. You can currently spend $99 and get a pair of batteries with a charger, plus a free power tool. We’re talking $250+ in value for less than it’s going to cost me to go see the Backrooms movie with my kids this weekend. There are even bigger discounts on pricier kits, so stock up now and don’t let a lack of gear get in the way of your summer to-do list.

If you’re more interested in tools for the culinary arts than construction, go check out the HexClad summer sale. Just about everything the company makes is marked down to its lowest prices of the year so far. I have a HexClad pan I’m currently testing, and I’m going to use it to make some grilled cheese sandwiches that I’ll sneak into the Backrooms movie.

You’ll need heat under those new HexClad pans, and a Weber grill can provide it.
